30-Day Return Window & Eligibility Criteria
We offer a 30-day return window, which begins on the date your order is successfully delivered to your shipping address. To qualify for a return and subsequent refund, the following conditions must be strictly met:
Unused & Unassembled Condition: Due to the structural nature of our products, items must be returned in their original, unused, and unassembled state. Once a product has been assembled, the mechanical friction on screws and joints prevents the item from being restocked as new.
Original Packaging: All components, including steel frames, wooden panels, hardware kits, and assembly manuals, must be returned in the original manufacturer’s packaging.
Secure Packaging: The return shipment must be packed securely to prevent transit damage. We recommend using the original protective foam and reinforcement materials provided.
How to Initiate a Return (RMA Authorization)
To ensure your return is processed accurately, we utilize a Mandatory Authorization Protocol. Please follow these steps:
Contact Our Support: Email us at [email protected] within the 30-day window. Please include your Order Number and a brief description of the reason for the return.
Receive Authorization: Our support team will review your request and provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number along with the specific return shipping address.
Dispatch Your Item: Clearly mark the RMA number on the exterior of the shipping box.
Mandatory Warning:Please do not send items back to the sender’s address listed on your original shipping label or any other address on file without contacting us first. Blind returns sent without a verified RMA cannot be identified, processed, or refunded.
Return Shipping Cost Responsibility

The responsibility for return shipping fees is determined by the nature of the return:
Merchant Responsibility (Damage or Incorrect Item): If your storage rack arrives with structural defects, missing parts, or if the incorrect model was dispatched, HomeShoeRack will cover 100% of the return shipping costs. In such cases, we require clear photographic evidence of the issue sent to [email protected] within 48 hours of delivery.
Customer Responsibility (Change of Mind): If the return is due to a change of mind, the style not fitting your decor, or selecting an incorrect size for your space, the customer is responsible for the full cost of return shipping.
$0.00 Restocking Fees
In alignment with our commitment to transparency and GMC compliance, HomeShoeRack does not charge any restocking fees. Provided the item is returned in its eligible, unassembled condition, you will receive the full purchase price of the product (minus any original shipping fees for orders under $85.00).
Refund Process & Expected Timelines
Once your return package is received at our facility, our quality control team will conduct an inspection within 1 – 3 working days. Once the return is approved:
An automated notification will be sent to your email.
The refund will be initiated immediately to your original payment method (Visa, Mastercard, etc.).
Bank Processing Time: Please note that while we issue the refund immediately, it typically takes 5 – 10 working days for the funds to be reflected in your bank or credit card statement, depending on your financial institution’s internal procedures.
Order Cancellations & Fraud Mitigation
12-Hour Cancellation Window: You may request a full cancellation of your order within 12 hours of purchase. Once this window has passed, the order is likely already in the processing or dispatch stage and cannot be halted; in such cases, the standard return policy applies.
Integrity Protection:HomeShoeRack reserves the right to refuse a refund or apply a partial refund if returned items are found to be used, assembled, damaged due to poor return packaging, or if the product returned does not match the original item sent.
