Shipping & Logistics Support

Q: Where do you ship from and which regions do you serve?
A: Our operations are managed from Pineville, North Carolina. Currently, HomeShoeRack exclusively provides shipping services to the 48 contiguous United States. Due to the weight and dimensions of our storage furniture, we are unable to deliver to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or international locations at this time.

Q: What are your shipping costs?
A: We maintain a transparent shipping structure:

  • Orders of $85.00 or more: Free Standard Shipping.
  • Orders under $85.00: A flat shipping fee of $9.00 will be applied at checkout.

There are no hidden handling fees or surcharges.

Q: How long will it take to receive my order?
A: The total estimated delivery time is 4 to 11 working days. This is calculated as follows:

  • Handling Time: 1 – 3 working days (Order cut-off time is 5:00 PM EST/EDT).
  • Transit Time: 3 – 8 working days via reliable carriers such as UPS, FedEx, or USPS.

Please note that orders placed after the cut-off time or during weekends will begin processing on the following working day.


Returns & Refund Assistance

Q: What is your return policy?
A: We offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery. To be eligible, items must be in their original, unassembled, and unused condition with all original packaging intact. In alignment with our transparency commitment, we do not charge any restocking fees ($0.00 Restocking Fee).

Q: Who is responsible for return shipping costs?
A: Responsibility depends on the reason for the return:

  • Damaged or Incorrect Items: If your product arrives defective or we sent the wrong model, HomeShoeRack will cover 100% of the return shipping costs.
  • Customer Remorse: If you change your mind or the style does not fit your space, the customer is responsible for the return shipping fees.

Q: How do I initiate a return?
A: Important: You must first contact us at [email protected] to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and specific return instructions. Please do not send items back to the address on your original shipping label without prior authorization, as we cannot process unauthorized returns.

Q: How long does it take to receive my refund?
A: Once we receive and inspect your return (within 1 – 3 working days), we will issue the refund immediately to your original payment method. Please allow an additional 5 – 10 working days for the funds to appear in your bank or credit card statement, depending on your financial institution’s processing schedule.


Specialized Product Information

Q: Will the product look exactly like the photos on the website?
A: We strive for high accuracy in our digital representations. However, please acknowledge that:

  • Color Accuracy: Variations in monitor settings and room lighting can lead to slight color differences.
  • Natural Materials: Products featuring bamboo or solid wood will have unique grain patterns and textures that are inherent to organic materials.
  • Dimensions: A structural tolerance of ±0.5 inches is standard for our steel and wood storage units due to the manufacturing and assembly process.

Q: What should I do if my shoe rack arrives damaged?
A: Although we use reinforced packaging, structural damage can occur during transit. If this happens, please take clear photos of the damage and the outer box, and email them to [email protected] within 48 hours of delivery. We will prioritize a replacement or refund for you.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept major credit and debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover. Our checkout process utilizes 256-bit SSL encryption to ensure your financial data is fully protected. We are PCI-DSS compliant and do not store your full credit card details on our local servers.

Q: Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?
A: You can request a cancellation within 12 hours of purchase. After this window, the order usually enters the fulfillment stage. Once an item has been dispatched, it cannot be canceled or intercepted, and the standard return process must be followed.
